OYE Night at the PBR

Members of Oklahoma’sFFA and 4-H Organizations have the chance to attend the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Oklahoma City Invitational for half of the price on Feb. 10.
As a result of a partnership between Touchstone Energy Cooperatives of Oklahoma and
the PBR, all proceeds from tickets sold to FFA amd 4-H members for the Feb. 10 performance
will go towards the Oklahoma Youth Expo/Touchstone Energy Cooperative Justin
Whitefield Scholarship.
Justin Whitefield, a former executive director of Oklahoma Youth Expo, was
instrumental in the establishment of various scholarship programs in 2002. Whitefield
was tragically killed in a plane crash in 2006. Today, his efforts and dedication to
Oklahoma’s agriculture and youth are honored through this scholarship.
Chapters can purchase tickets for the 8:00 p.m. performance, which will take
place on Friday, Feb. 10 at the Chesapeake Arena in Oklahoma City. Discounted ticket
prices will be $11(original price $22). One hundred percent of the proceeds will go
towards the Justin Whitefield scholarship.
The scholarship, which started off in the value of $1,000 in 2002,has now become a
permanent legacy.
