Who
Open to Oklahoma 4-H and FFA members. In order to be a member of the Equine Leadership Encounter, students must download a Membership Application and return it to the Oklahoma Youth Expo office postmarked no later than the deadline date. NOTE: Past members are welcome to re-apply as members of the 2011 program; however, please realize that many of the visits will be very similar in nature and may be somewhat repetitive of last year's program.

Tentatively, Encounter seminars will be held in February 2011 and April 2011.

Seminars
Seminars are free of charge and include lunch, transportation and all educational materials.

2010-2011 ADM Equine Scholarship Program
Two, $1,500 scholarships will be provided to two senior participants of the Equine Encounter Program.
In order to receive one of the two, $1,500 scholarships, high school seniors who are chosen as members must complete an OYE Scholarship Application located on the "Scholarship Page" of this Web site and return it to the Oklahoma Youth Expo office postmarked no later than the scholarship deadline. Applicants must also be involved in the Oklahoma Youth Expo. Applicants are asked to list the ADM Equine Scholarship at the top of the scholarship application in order to be considered. Note: Past members of the Equine Encounter Program are eligible to apply for the scholarships available. You do not have to be a current Senior member, you simply must have been a member previously.
